Shared hosting can adapt to multiple sites on a server in each site by dividing its own “cut”of space on the server. Thus, hosting companies can maximize use of each server and reduce the cost of shared hosting customers. Although many sites are on the same server, shared hosting customers can not use each other’s sites. Customers have access to the control panel web based which allows them to maintain and update their own sites, while hosting company managed by the server itself.
